FELICIA

Here is a piece I did for FanimeCon a couple of months ago. Everybody who saw it at the table seemed to like it except for this one douche bag. He was passing by our table then stopped to look at the piece and with his whinny voice he said "Why does Felicia look like a man?" He kinda looked like a Filipino Urkel but that's beside the point. I don't know if he was trying to be funny but he didn't come across as such. It was just one of those what the fuck moments where you get caught off guard and dumbfounded that it takes a while for you to have a reaction because you are still can't believe what happened just did. First off, I don't take myself too seriously that what that dude did would piss me off and make me beat the shit out of him (although the thought of me caving his chest in did cross my mind briefly for his rude remark). Second if you're gonna be an artist you have to have thick skin because you'll put yourself out there and not everybody will like you or your work. Over the years my skin has gotten thicker so to speak but that was the rudest thing I've heard about my work and I've done far crappier pieces than this one. Anyway here it is.
